I am photographer/multimedia producer based in Austin, Texas. Before pursuing a career in photography, I graduated from The University of Texas with a BA in Math, a BA in Psychology and taught high school math. My background is in documentary photography, with work ranging from mental illness and education to rattlesnake roundups and Mexican rodeos. Through an emphasis of documentary video education and an internship with National Public Radio, I now also produce multimedia projects and video.

My photographic education includes the SALT Institute for documentary studies and a masters degree in photojournalism from The University of Texas. While at UT, I attended the Eddie Adam's Workshop Barnstorm XX in October of 2007.
