I recently went on an excursion to south Texas and can not post any images until the story runs on NPR.org in a month. I hate waiting, but maybe by them I will have gotten sick of them and can be more cut-throat when editing. This image is from the shoot and I like it, but has absolutely nothing to do with the story.
I shot this portrait a few months back and just found it in a roll of negatives. This is to go along with a feature that I am working on for Public Media Texas which looks at the environment of East Austin yesterday and today, with an emphasis on how people relate to the environment. The project is in the editing phase… I hope to post more soon.
